Slaughter and May advised the Waterford Wedgwood group on its proposed financial and business restructuring (including the structuring of new equity investment and restructuring of its existing bank and capital markets debt facilities) and on the placing into administration of certain of its UK operating subsidiaries on 5th January, 2009. Slaughter and May worked with William Fry (as to matters of Irish law) and Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP (as to matters of US law).
