Lawn Tennis Association - Agreement relating to Wimbledon tennis championships
Slaughter and May advised the Lawn Tennis Association on the variation and extension of its agreement with the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club in respect of the Wimbledon tennis championships and the related sale of the Lawn Tennis Association's shares in the All England Lawn Tennis Ground plc and the All England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon) Limited. The amended agreement in respect of the Wimbledon tennis championships was signed on 14 May 2009 and takes effect upon completion of the sale of the shares. The share purchase agreement was signed on 14 May 2009 and is due to complete on 1 August 2013.
