Helphire Group - Proposed Placing and Open Offer

Slaughter and May is advising Helphire Group, one of the UK's leading providers of credit hire and other accident management services, on a conditional placing and open offer to raise £50 million (approximately £46.5 million net of expenses).

The placing and open offer which was announced on 9 April, 2009 is not underwritten, but Cenkos Securities plc has conditionally placed all of the new ordinary shares with a number of existing institutional investors.
