Abbey National - Issuance under EUR 25 billion Global Covered Bond Programme
Slaughter and May advised Abbey National on the public issuance of EUR 1.75 billion 3.625 per cent. Covered Bonds due 2016 under the Abbey National Treasury Services PLC EUR 25 billion Global Covered Bond Programme.
The issuance completed on the 14 October 2009.
The lead managers were Banco Santander SA, Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, London Branch and Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft.
