Cadbury Schweppes - Listing and demerger

Slaughter and May advised Cadbury Schweppes on the creation and listing in London of Cadbury plc as a stand alone confectionery company (and the connected listing of Cadbury ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange) and on the demerger of its Americas Beverages business to Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc., the shares in which have been listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The demerger took effect in May 2008.

Shearman & Sterling advised Cadbury Schweppes on US law.
