England and Wales Cricket Board - Sponsorship and Kit Supply Agreement with adidas

Slaughter and May advised the England and Wales Cricket Board Limited (ECB) on its major Sponsorship and Kit Supply Agreement with adidas (UK) Limited (adidas), whereby adidas replaced International Brand Licensing PLC (trading as Admiral) as a sponsor of the ECB and the official kit supplier of the ECB and Team England.

Under the new five year Sponsorship and Kit Supply Agreement which was announced on 22 March, 2007 adidas was granted a licence to use ECB's brands and endorsements and various other promotional and supply rights and will supply the ECB and Team England with a range of adidas products on an exclusive basis.

The Sponsorship and Kit Supply Agreement is a significant step forward for both the ECB and adidas in the international cricket arena.
