Slaughter and May is advising Senior plc on a rights issue to raise approximately £27.3 million (before expenses) to fund the proposed acquisition of Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. The rights issue that was announced on 19 September, 2006, has been fully underwritten by Hoare Govett Limited.

Slaughter and May also advised on a new revolving credit facility of up to £80 million.

Senior is an international manufacturing group of high technology components and systems in the worldwide aerospace, diesel engine, exhaust systems and energy markets.

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC advised Senior plc on the proposed acquisition of Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. The acquisition is governed by US law.
