Slaughter and May advised Rambus Inc. on the sale of the entire issued share capital of Smart Card Software Limited to Visa International Service Association for $75 million in cash, subject to certain adjustments. Rambus Inc. creates cutting-edge semiconductor and IP products, spanning memory and interfaces to security, smart sensors and lighting.

 The sale is subject to certain regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2019.
