Slaughter and May advised Unilever on the acquisition of Pukka Herbs Limited (Pukka), the organic herbal tea business. The transaction completed on 6 September 2017.
Founded in 2001, Pukka has annual turnover of over £30m and, according to Euromonitor 2016, is the fastest growing organic tea company in the world. The acquisition will strengthen Unilever’s existing tea business and allow Unilever to bring Pukka to even more customers.
