Retirement of Slaughter and May partner George Goulding
Slaughter and May partner George Goulding retired on 31 October, 2011.
George joined the firm in 1975 and became partner in 1984. He has covered a wide range of corporate work during his career and has worked for clients such as CITIC Group, Ericsson, NYK and Toyota Motorsport.
George opened Slaughter and May's former Tokyo office in 1987 and was closely involved in the development the firm's "Best Friends" approach after returning to the London office in 1990. He returned to Asia in 2006 and opened Slaughter and May's Beijing office in September 2009.
