Slaughter and May launches Africa Essay Prize
Slaughter and May is launching an essay competition for students to write about Africa. The winner will receive both £2,000 and a work placement at the Firm. Second and third places will receive £1,000 and £500.
The competition, which is open to all students at any EU educational institution, requires entrants to submit an essay of not more than 1,000 words on:
What challenges does the end of the commodities boom pose for Africa?
or
What can customary law teach the "modern" world?
