Trainee volunteering

Our volunteering work and charitable giving are integral to the way we interact with the wider community. You may take an active role but there is no pressure to do so.

There are plenty of legal and non-legal volunteering opportunities here, including the work we do with local schools. As a volunteer, you may participate in a literacy scheme of regular reading sessions at two local primary schools, support Year 12 students in writing their personal statements for university or help older local residents learn how to use the Internet.

We support a variety of good causes through our charitable trust and focus on forming long-lasting, robust relationships with our partner charities. We run a payroll-giving scheme that allows you to donate to charity in a tax-efficient way and we support individual fundraising efforts through our "Funds for Fundraisers" scheme – as a future trainee you can take part in the scheme before you join.
