Our overall aim is to give our trainees a rich variety of high quality work so that they develop their legal skills and find the practice area that best suits their skills and interests.
You can choose to work in the areas, or "seats", that interest you.
You will enjoy a varied, demanding and rewarding workload. This may include drafting a commercial agreement; going to court to seek a High Court injunction; or even attending a meeting at an investment bank to agree the offer terms for a public takeover that will make headlines in the next issue of the Financial Times.
Every month a partner will review your progress and, at the end of each seat, you will be given a full appraisal. These reviews are designed to benefit you. They provide a forum in which to discuss your progress and ways to develop your legal knowledge, skills and experience.
Our extensive training programme will help you to develop the skills essential to become a successful lawyer.
