Training timeline

If you are a law or non-law student you may apply for a training contract with us.

All our future trainees must attend the Legal Practice Course ("LPC") at BPP Law School in London. From September 2008, non-law students will also be required to study the Graduate Diploma in Law ("GDL") at BPP but can do so at any of its branches in England.

The LPC has been designed to give you a thorough training in the law relevant to the commercial transactions on which we advise. We have established this course with four other major City law firms and BPP, and we have had a very significant role in its development.

If you would like to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales, but have not completed your undergraduate degree here, we would advise you to contact the Solicitors Regulation Authority before submitting an application in order to discover which courses you must undertake before you can begin a training contract.
