Trainee legal secretaries

Our Trainee Legal Secretaries Scheme runs over a 12-month period starting in the middle of July each year.

Trainee secretaries spend four weeks in eight different practice areas combined with study days and time spent working within our float secretary team. Upon qualification you will join the float team and will have the opportunity to apply for positions within our practice areas as they arise.

We are looking for individuals who are commercially aware, who expect and deliver excellence, who are motivated, team oriented and, most importantly, have the enthusiasm and potential to work alongside our lawyers in providing an exceptional service to our clients.

You will have gained at least five GCSE subjects at Grade C or above, which must include English Language (at Grade A) and Maths, and will be studying or have passed a one or two year Legal Secretarial diploma.
